Representative Junie Joseph’s SB26-142 Signed Into Law, Expanding Colorado’s Clean Energy Toolkit

DENVER, CO — Today, Governor Jared Polis signed Senate Bill 26-142, sponsored by Representative Junie Joseph, into law at the Governor’s Mansion. The legislation modernizes Colorado law to support the development of geothermal and thermal energy resources, creating new opportunities for communities, utilities, and local governments to invest in innovative heating and cooling systems powered by sustainable energy sources.
