Community Invited to Energy Assistance Event and Town Hall on March 21

BOULDER, Co - Residents are invited to attend a Colorado House District 10’s Energy Town Hall and Xcel Energy Red Truck Services Event this Saturday, March 21, offering direct assistance for households needing help with energy bills and access to important community resources.

The event will take place at the Boulder Family Learning Center, located at 3164 34th St., Boulder, CO 80301.

The Xcel Energy Red Truck will be on site from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., providing one-on-one support for residents who need help understanding their energy bills, setting up payment plans, or applying for assistance programs. Staff will also help eligible households sign up for the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP), which helps qualifying families reduce the cost of heating their homes.

The Colorado HD Energy Town Hall will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., giving community members an opportunity to discuss energy affordability, local concerns, and available resources with their state representative and community partners.

Residents who are behind on their energy bills, struggling to keep up with costs, or simply looking to learn more about available assistance are strongly encouraged to attend. Experts will be available to answer questions and help residents navigate the programs designed to support Colorado households.
